After long talks between Alan, Robert and myself we decided that, after seeing all the other teams from different countries being present at the last World Championships in Hinterzarten in Germany 2007, something was missing:

A team from Great Britain !!!

Alan was the only English jumper there. Originally he was going to jump for Sweden but Ingvart Tornängen, one of Sweden's best ski jumpers, was able to persuade Alan to jump for Great Britain instead. Thankyou Ingvart!

 

James joined our team at the beginning of May, James is already an established ski jumper in England, in 1994 James broke the British National Record by jumping 81m in Holmenkollen and held on to the record until 2002.

And now with Alan, James and myself we are forming a team from Great Britain. There´s no reason why not (English men can jump too)! So here we have our official homepage which I hope you will all enjoy. We'll provide you with all important information concerning our training programme, competitions and all other stuff. If there´s something missing - please let us know.

Although this site is mostly about us, it is definitely dedicated to all those guys who take part and help organising the Senior's Tour - especially the officials of the IMC - International Masters Championships (our FIS) who made all this possible. Thanks alot !!!

Our "Tour" is growing larger and gathering more pace each year ! This year alone in Hinterzarten, 190 Athletes were registered to take part in the Ski jumping and Nordic Combined competitions. So as you can see, we the athletes and oganising committee appreciate all the support we can get.

So if  an IMC event comes to a place near you, come along and have some fun with us and watch these guys fly, but most of all CHEER these Athletes on and applaud their dedication to a great sporting event.
